Air Assaults Intensify After Trump’s Return
Between 20 January and 19 July, Russian forces launched over 27,000 aerial munitions into Ukraine, according to verified Ukrainian military data. That figure more than doubles the 11,600 launches recorded in the final six months of Joe Biden’s presidency.
The steep increase shows that Russian attacks increase under Trump, even though he publicly promised peace. Critics argue that his policies have created opportunities for Moscow to escalate the war.
Policy Shifts and Supply Delays
The Trump administration temporarily paused U.S. military aid to Ukraine in March and again in July. Although both pauses were later reversed, analysts say these delays gave Russia the confidence to push forward.
During this period, Russian missile production reportedly jumped by 66%. Drone production also surged, with one factory in Alabuga now producing 170 Geran drones daily. These “kamikaze drones” have played a major role in the increased attacks.
Frontline Cities Face Constant Threat
In cities like Kyiv, the impact is severe. Russian attacks increase under Trump, turning daily life into a constant state of alert. Explosions ring out frequently, and residents live with the fear of being hit during sleep.
On 9 July, Russia launched 748 munitions in a single day—marking the war’s largest recorded air strike so far. Since then, attacks have continued at a relentless pace.
Ceasefire Talks Show Limited Results
Trump’s diplomatic push began with peace talks in February, but they failed to slow the war. While the president has set an 8 August deadline for a ceasefire, there is little sign that Moscow intends to back down.
